Congratulations on your beautiful new logo!
I like the logo, Can see the butterfly. What about the white space, does it delineate anything? It’s good to have a global presence, symbolized by the earth. You have developed your presence in the field of Somatic Learning. Have you heard about www.echoinggreen.com? They give out grants. Good copy, the reading of it flows with good intentions of helping people better enjoy the life they have been given. All the best.
Very nice in concept and execution - and of course in my favourite colour - the one of hope. May it serve you well!
Thanks Mary Beth. Glad you like it.
Rosa - We picked the colour just for you!! Thanks for the good wishes. Cynthia
Theresa - Love your detailed look and comments. Thanks so much.
The logo did have an accidental white space image that was so distracting to some that the main images could not be perceived by those same folks, so we worked to take out any clear image in the negative space.
I would like to check out the website you mention, but I believe there is an error in the address you posted. It doesn’t appear to go where you are wanting to direct us.
Best to you as well. Cynthia
Your new logo is gorgeous is so very smart! I am not big on wearing people’s logos on tee-shirts–but I would wear your logo on a tee-shirt. Where are the beautiful tee-shirts?
Laura - We did sell some t-shirts and some women’s more fitted shirts at the Midwest Conference just to see how they would go over. They sold quite well. Stock right now is quite spotty but we might have your size
Thanks for the encouragement to take it into stock. Cynthia
It’s been a busy month, and I needed time to reflect on the image.
The smaller version [on the blue background and with a hint of shadow around the lower right] leads my eye to puzzlement about the white area as a separate figure, ‘competing’ with the butterfly.
The larger version, which is on a white background, more clearly emphasizes the emergence of the figure of the butterfly from a sphere that is beginning to ‘dissolve’, even to metamorphose into the butterfly.
I wonder if it would work better to have the sphere cast its shadow in the same direction as it is itself shadowed on the lower left.
Even with this the suggestion of a pair of rounded white ears, face hidden behind the butterfly, might remain. Perhaps if there were an attractive way to take the symmetry out of that white area’s outline….?
Anyway, it is rather compelling and it works quite well with the three words of purpose. All the best!
Russ- Thank you for your deligence in sitting with the log and returning to our invitaion to comment. We appreciate your thoughtul comments!
